Our culture is based on three words:
Reliable, Adaptable, Partnership

Reliable, strong, means doing what you need, or doing what I said I would do.

With our customers, that might be:

  • Hitting our dispatch dates
  • Setting and managing customer expectations clearly and proactively
  • Ensuring our products do what they are supposed to
  • Fixing issues quickly, 1st time where possible
  • Being knowledgeable and concise about our products

With each other, that might be:

  • Hitting my deadlines and targets
  • Responding to internal enquiries and requests promptly
  • Being there when I’m expected, ready to work
  • Delivering information quickly
  • Doing high quality work

  • Being innovative and open minded to improving existing products or introducing new products
  • Being professional, friendly and approachable (always) and catering our approach to fit the customer and circumstances

With each other, that might be:

  • Willing to change and improve how we do things (tools, systems and processes) to ensure they work well/better for what the business needs
  • Improving our skills and knowledge to better understand each other, our business and our customers
Group 9848

“I enjoy coming to work and remember my first day clearly when the MD passed me in on the stairs, recognised I was new, knew my name and said hello. It is obvious the people at the top are in touch with their staff, the management team are all very approachable and know what is going on.”

Partnership means that we are supportive, helpful & committed to our customer and each other

With our customers, that might be:

  • Working together to make sure the customer experiences ‘one Cherwell’, one company working together, not multiple departments
  • Building relationships with customers that emphasises long term, ongoing work together
Group-9855
Group-9856

With each other, that might be:

  • Thinking about the impact my work has on others and giving them the information and support they need to get the job done
  • Working positively together with others – often outside of my immediate team - to ensure the customer gets what they need and lending a hand when it’s needed
  • Being supportive and kind to each other
Group 9809

“I love working at Cherwell because it is a very inclusive company where everyone is treated the same. Nothing is kept from us and I know where the company is going and what is expected of me. I love the variety in my role and helping out others to resolve issues.”
